Its a baby Ding!!
Dear Nidhi:
The Admissions Committee has completed its review of your application for the Kellogg School of Management and Two-Year Program. Despite your many merits as a candidate, I regret to inform you that we are not able to offer you a place in the entering class.
The Admissions Committee carefully evaluated your application in the following areas: work experience, career plans, academic ability and performance, extracurricular and community involvement, leadership and interpersonal skills. Decisions are based upon a thorough evaluation of your individual strengths and weaknesses, as well as your qualifications relative to all others in our applicant pool. This decision is not a reflection of your personal qualities and achievements or your potential for success in management, but merely a reflection of the limited number of places in the class.
We certainly wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors, and thank you for your interest in the Kellogg School of Management and Two-Year Program .
Sincerely,
Beth Flye
Director of Admissions and Financial Aid
I was really hoping to get into Kellogg. It was kind of my dream school. And I thought I had put up a good application but I guess not. It was my first application too so may be I was inexperienced. Anyway, one down and one more to go.
Its a sad day.....

Hopefully Michigan comes back with a better answer. I know you don't feel it now, but in a few days, I wonder if you'll have the urge to laugh that Kellogg rejected you? Like it's funny that they have the nerve to say you're just not good enough. I mean, who are they?
I just file it away to use as motivation to prove another detractor wrong. Don't let it hold you back.
too bad about kellogg, but you are definitely not alone! I read 2 other blogs today of people who had the same results. You learn from each experience though, so whether its Ross or something next year you are bound to get in!
As sad as this is right now, I think that things happen for a reason. Not that you wouldn't have been a great asset at Kellogg - but perhaps you will be happier at Ross :)
Btw - congratulations on your marriage! I meant to post this in your last post but my computer kept on crashing.
