Hope the phone rings before the email

Its been almost 15 days since Kellogg started announcing results. I read the Business week forum thread on round 1 applicant every day only to see more and more people getting their calls. The Kellogg admission protocol is to call successful applicants personally before they update the results online. And for a ding, they merely send you an email. I guess thats better than an embarassing phone call. Well now it all boils down to whether your phone would ring before you get an email.

Its hard to concentrate on work when some thing so important is not decided. I guess the fear of the unknown is lurking around in me. Time and again you try to resist justifying your chances into Kellogg School of Management. Its hard to see people getting accepted and dinged and not being able to decipher why some one made it in and some one else was rejected. Wish I had a time machine......or if its a ding for me, may be not.

I cannot even imagine the agony. Is there a last day by which they will release all R1 decisions?

Yeah Jan 16th is the Dday. I don't think I want to know the result. I am not sure if I would be able to handle a ding. Need to toughen up.

I'll have my fingers crossed for you! I am indeed super excited about moving to New York. It has been a dream for quite some time...though doesn't everyone dream of living in the big apple at some point in their life? :)
